New WYSIWYG editor for e107 is released



Editor previewThe fully tested WYSIWYG editor for e107 was released today.


The editor known as purple_wysiwyg integrates tightly and makes use of all the security features of e107.


Some of the features of the editor is the ability to paste Word documents, build multi-media web pages and allow normal users to create documents and web content without knowing BBcode or HTML.


For the admininstrator of an e107 site, it also offers a fully configured Ajax File Manager, The admin can decide which and where users can upload files.


Not only can the editor interface be themed or styled, but the admin can also theme the type of editor to be used in the various WYSIWYG ready e107 plugins.


The purple_wysiwyg editor is available as donationware and can be obtained by registering as a member of purplescroll.com and making a minimum donation of €6-25 or US$9-75 (for your currency value click here).


Why donationware? Donations are passed onto various international charity organisations that benefit destitude children. Therefore do not limit your donation!
